My dad and I are headed to Philadelphia tomorrow, just
after school. In fact, I'm supposed to be packing, showering, writing a
poem, and sleeping right now. Oh the demands of being a teenager. I'm visiting
Swarthmore Sunday
and Monday, then
UVA on
Tuesday. Lots of driving, lots of books on tape.
But I wanted to leave you with some links (a long with a semi-functional layout.
Hello blogosphere!), just in case you get bored while I'm gone.
Latte
Art. Something about the fat content needed to create these
kinds of designs really bothers me.
Speakers'
Corner. "Speakers Corner takes a live feed from this
website or your mobile phone and feeds it directly to the public
display in the centre of Huddersfield, UK" -- a new kind
of found poem.
Ted
Leo's cover of Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" is
even more addictive than the original. Did I mention that I'm in
love with him?
A
guy that I (sort of) know quit school for poker.
Mark showed me
some
bogus pages on Amazon after I mentioned
ground
lion. Be sure to read
the
reviews.
An
interesting article about the immediacy of the internet and
its place in the physical world.
"Next,
he began stuffing the mail back into the 'business reply' envelope
and sending it back so that the mailer would have to pay the postage." --
an article about how people cope with life's little annoyances
like junkmail.
