And so begins the week-long countdown to Wilco. Already my weekend has been punctuated by lot bouts of A Ghost Is Born. Each day is a new song on repeat. I nearly have "Hummingbird" and "I'm a Wheel" out of my system, and today I've moved to "Muzzle of Bees." You know what a sucker I am for half-whispered songs and finger-plucked guitar. Combine it with a climactic, static guitar solo, and you've got a winner.

I developed some pictures today, a few of which I've put in the photography section. Unlike the rest of the pictures in there, these are what I might consider actual photography. They're from my Nikon. It's so expensive to get pictures developed and put onto a CD; it makes me long for a scanner. Alas. Most of the photos are from a recording session this weekend at Philip's -- eight hours of goofing around and occasionally getting tracks down for an audition.
