I have been home for less than 24
hours and I am about to leave again. I wanted to drop in and say
hello, fix things a little, and leave you with some uncaptioned
pictures. Uncaptioned but "lightly annotated," let's
say.
Here's the
link.
Be warned: these are huge picture files. I am not to be held
responsible for computer crashes or modem slowness.
And here, my dear, are the annotations:
084-087: The New Valley River Gorge.
090-106: Pittsburgh and the Andy Warhol Museum.
117-132: The miniature train village in Pittsburgh's Carnegie Science
Museum.
136-141: More Pittsburgh from the Duquesne Incline.
176-226: Niagra with Mom from the American and Canadian sides.
228-233: Visiting Mom's old work friend, Mary (and her family) in
Syracuse.
235-276: The usual New York stuff (mostly Mom's pictures while we were
writing/acting at Sarah Lawrence). Shaina and Mark met us in NYC
and all three of us went to the SLC Young Writers' Camp.
287-296: teany, Moby's veagan restaurant in NYC. Mom and I ate
dinner here, and I got a souvenir teapot.
219-342: More NYC.
I have loads more (especially of the Warhol) on film that I haven't
yet developed, which includes all the lovely people I met (Xan,
Meagan, Mackenzie, Gabe, Adam, Kat, Stacy, Maggie, Michael, Sarah --
thanks so much for a beautiful summer), and all of my experiences at
Hollinsummer in videoproduction and psychology (a.k.a. guuurrrrrll
camp). However, the last few "IMG" jpgs are of my
Hollins videoproduction class -- Stacy, me, and Maggie.
Here's some of what you
missed at Hollins, via email correspondence with my parents.
And now that you've been somewhat sufficiently updated, I must catch a
flight to Chicago to see my lovely Caitlin for a week. When I
get home the next time, it will be for real.
I have so much to say and so little time to say it. Hopefully
this is enough to keep you occupied until I return home.
